Application of High Alumina Cement:

Ladle refractory castable generally use CA-70 or CA-80 refractory cement as binder. In a small ladle, using refractory cement as binder can reduce costs about 90%. Because of Al2O3 and CaO forming CA6 and CA2 and other refractory minerals, it helps to improve its performance. However, the cement itself is with impurities and excessive formation of CA6,which is disadvantageous for its refractory castable. So we need to consider its properties regarding to the use amount.
