Acidic Refractories

Acidic refractories consist of mainly acidic materials like alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2), which are generally not attacked or affected by acidic materials, but easily affected by basic materials. They include substances such as silica, alumina, and fire clay brick refractories. Notable reagents that can attack both alumina and silica are hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and fluorinated gases (e.g. HF, F2). At high temperatures, acidic refractories may also react with limes and basic oxides.

1. Alumina Bubble Refractory Brick
Alumina bubble brick adopts Alumina bubble as the main material, high-performance ultra-fine powder as additive and organic binder material. After forming and drying, the alumina bubble products are baked in shuttle kiln at 1750 ℃.

2. Micro Silica
Micro silica fume is a high activity pozzolanic material with large surface area. Micro silica in materials will play the role of lubrication with the tiny spherical body. Micro silica in the special refractories can form a multi-layer protective layer during oxide. It has good mechanical properties and resistance to high temperature and oxidation.
